Partnerships are an integral part to doing business and establishing credibility in your industry is vital to business. Partnerships come in many forms; being a vendor to a client, sponsorships, in-kind partners, vendors, and of course, business partners. They can be a challenging channel to navigate—appeasing both sides of the relationship, while making sure that you’re getting what you need. So how do you make it work?

In this workshop, I’ll share my experience as a new partner in my business, a vendor, a sponsor, and my experience with many business partners in hopes of helping you create valuable and effective partnerships for your business.

About Peer to Peer Leader Carolyn Coyne:

Carolyn is a Partner and Creative Strategist at Highline, bringing over 13 years of consumer marketing experience with brands such as Red Bull, Nike, Toyota, FUEL TV, Boost Mobile, and Fox.

She started her career as Red Bull’s National Events Manager, effectively building what was once a relatively unknown brand into the number-one energy drink in the US and creating and managing hundreds of events in her five-year tenure.

Following her career at Red Bull, Carolyn established Tadpole Marketing in 2004, leading a team on hundreds of projects including winning marketing campaigns around world-class athletes, bringing Toyota trucks to the fore in the action sports industry, helping FUEL TV build each season’s advertiser base through innovative Upfront presentations, and re-introducing SALONPAS, a pain-relief product to over 200,000 people in the Los Angeles area.

Carolyn was a Division 1 collegiate swimmer at Northwestern University. She currently lives in Venice with her husband, Colin, her beautiful daughter, Stella Rose, and her amazing pooch, Ernie.

She is active in many causes including SMARTY, WISE, Venice Family Clinics, Tree People, Global Inheritance, and The Surfrider Foundation.
